Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to support inventory- and audit-related activities in Cary, NC.

The role emphasizes compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and corporate policies while partnering with Supply Chain to optimize inventory costing and close processes. Responsibilities include reconciling inventory balances, reviewing COGS, coordinating annual physical inventories, and serving as the main point of contact for auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s degree a plus.
• 5+ years’ accounting experience, preferably in pharma.
• 3+ years’ inventory accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS a plus.
• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP systems (D365 F&O).
• Experience with CMOs/CDMOs and 3PL a plus.

Responsibilities

• GAAP/IFRS compliance and internal control adherence.
• Reconcile inventory-related GL accounts and COGS calculations.
• Partner with Supply Chain on costing methodologies and standard cost updates.
• Monitor landed costs and inventory valuation accuracy.
• Lead annual physical inventories and variance reconciliations.
• Support audits and technical accounting analyses as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for internal/external audits for inventory.
