Job summary

CFS is seeking an Inventory Accountant in Stamford, CT to support inventory and accounting operations across multiple locations. You will report to the Controller and ensure inventory accuracy, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, inventory receipts, and invoices.
• Reconcile inventory balances across multiple locations and research discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support ad hoc reporting and analysis related to inventory and accounting.
