Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Clinical Coordinator to support pre-practicum and clinical courses, simulation education, and lectures within the Claude W. Smith MD School of Cardiovascular Technology.

You will coordinate with the Program Director and faculty to ensure comprehensive instruction and evaluate student performance across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited invasive CVT program or equivalent experience in CVT as RCIS.
• Current RCIS certification and BLS; ACLS required; ARRT and SCRQSA may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with schedules and instruction in classroom and clinical settings as assigned.
• Coordinate with Program Director and faculty on didactic and laboratory courses.
• Ensure students receive adequate programmatic and technical instruction, exposure, and experience.
• Evaluate student performance in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.
• Communicate with Cath Lab leadership regarding student performance and curriculum issues.
• Teach in pre-practicum, clinical, simulation, or didactic settings as directed.
