Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Invasive Cardiologist for locum tenens support in Medford, Oregon. Start date ASAP with hospital, clinic and call coverage in an inpatient/outpatient setting. The role uses Epic EMR for documentation and scheduling.

Candidates must be board certified in Cardiology with an active Oregon license, BLS and ACLS, and DEA registration. Credentialing is expected within 90 days, with procedures including catheterizations, TEE, stress echoes, angiograms and EKG reads.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiology and Oregon medical licensure are required.
• Active DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with invasive procedures and multimodal cardiac imaging is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive cardiology procedures including catheterizations and echocardiograms.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care with hospital, clinic and call coverage.
• Interpret EKGs, manage stress testing and coordinate with EMR Epic.
• Complete credentialing within approximately 90 days.

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8;Weekend Pay Rate: $276.45 - $299.25

This facility is seeking an Invasive Cardiologist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Hospital, clinic, and call coverage.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures: Heart catheterizations, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echocardiograms, angiograms, reading echocardiograms, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and stress echocardiograms. Nuclear reads preferred but not required.
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Licensure required: Active Oregon medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required. Board Certification required.
