Job summary

Arnot Health in Ithaca, NY seeks an experienced RN for the Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab. The RN will scrub, circulate, monitor, and support procedures in the catheterization laboratory, collaborating with the cardiovascular team to ensure safe patient care.

You will be on-call with a 30-minute response, provide pre- and post-procedure care, and rotate through the Heart Institute Ambulatory Care Unit as needed. NY RN license, BLS, ACLS required; cardiac ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS required.
• Cardiac experience required.
• Previous Critical Care/ICU experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scrubbing, circulation and recording in the Cath Lab per Cath Lab policies and physicians’ procedures.
• Maintains an adequate stock and proper inventory of drugs and narcotics.
• On-call coverage with 30-minute response time.
• Supports pre- and post-procedure care and emergency response; rotates through HIACU as needed.
