Job summary

Stratus seeks a Security Systems Administrator to manage the enterprise endpoint environment, leveraging Microsoft Intune as the primary platform for configuration, security, and lifecycle management.

The role collaborates with the Director of Cyber Security and IT leadership to drive endpoint security initiatives, implement controls, and support audits across Stratus offices, remote workforce, and acquired companies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise endpoint management, engineering, systems administration, or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience managing Windows endpoints at scale through Microsoft Intune.
• Experience packaging, testing, and deploying applications through Intune, including detection rules and deployment monitoring.
• Experience administering Windows Update for Business and patch remediation workflows.
• Working knowledge of Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, reporting, and remediation.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity controls, audits, and compliance validation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft Intune and endpoint management controls.
• Manage Windows Autopilot, enrollment, provisioning, and lifecycle processes from deployment to retirement.
• Package, test, deploy, update, and retire applications via Intune with monitoring and remediation.
• Administer Windows Update for Business including policy rings and deployment schedules.
• Monitor enrollment, deployments, patching, and compliance; troubleshoot outages and drift.
• Develop and improve endpoint security configurations, including Defender and encryption controls.
• Support identity controls with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA remediation.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical controls and operating procedures.
• Assist with security incidents, investigations, and post-incident remediation.
• Onboard acquired companies and standardize security across the footprint.
