Job summary

Stratus Team LLC is seeking a Security and Systems Administrator to own the endpoint security program across Stratus’s enterprise environment. The role centers on Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, and Entra ID, ensuring secure configuration, deployment, patching, and compliance.

You will implement scalable controls, support audits, and drive improvements across on-site and remote offices, acquisitions, and a diverse workforce. Strong automation and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise endpoint management, engineering, or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with Windows endpoints at scale using Intune.
• Experience packaging, testing, deploying apps via Intune and monitoring deployments.
• Experience administering Windows Update for Business and patching workflows.
• PowerShell proficiency for automation, reporting, and remediation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for endpoint enrollment and compliance.
• Ability to prioritize security risks by impact and exposure.
• Strong documentation and cross‑functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator for Microsoft Intune and endpoint controls.
• Manage Windows Autopilot, enrollment, provisioning, and lifecycle.
• Package and deploy applications via Intune with monitoring.
• Administer Windows Update for Business and deployment schedules.
• Monitor enrollment, deployments, patching, and compliance; troubleshoot issues.
• Implement endpoint security configurations with Defender and policies.
• Support Entra ID and Conditional Access, MFA remediation.
• Translate security requirements into scalable controls and procedures.
• Assist with audits, evidence collection, and incident response.
• Onboard acquired companies and standardize configurations and controls.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and maintain runbooks and docs.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to strengthen standards.
• Identify recurring issues and implement durable, scalable solutions.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining security posture.
