Job description

As a Tax Associate with Intuit you’ll work directly with our customers to answer simple tax questions to help them prepare their returns. You’ll have access to our virtual tools and resources, as well as opportunities to collaborate with experts and provide updates on assigned customers. This role includes several administrative tasks to support your work, like data entry and compiling and tagging documents for tax return prep. At the end of the season we offer opportunities to work with us again for following seasons.

• Minimum 2 seasons of paid Tax Preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year required
• Prior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting required
• Strong customer service skills with ability to empathize and instill confidence
• Ability/motivation to expand expertise and obtain a tax credential or certification – Intuit offers a program to obtain your EA
• Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with form 1040 and schedules
