Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Intrusion Analysis Technical Lead to guide a team of cyber analysts performing advanced investigations in support of critical mission objectives. You will lead host-based and network-based forensic analyses, malware analysis, and reverse engineering to understand adversary behavior.

You will mentor analysts, elevate analytic quality, and collaborate with a skilled Analytics & Engineering team at Parsons’ Cybersecurity Center of Excellence Lab in Columbia, MD.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• GCIH certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience in IT/security.
• 5+ years leading technical efforts in digital forensics labs.
• 7+ years performing digital and multimedia forensics.
• Last 7 years working with Windows, macOS, Linux in forensics.
• 7+ years with forensic network analysis.
• 7+ years analyzing endpoint/PCAP data.
• 5+ years using FTK, EnCase, X-Ways.
• Experience with network- and host-based forensics, malware analysis, reverse engineering.
• Strong intrusion analysis knowledge and investigative tradecraft.
• Leadership and mentorship within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for intrusion analysis team.
• Guide investigations involving host-based and network-based forensics.
• Support malware analysis and reverse engineering to understand adversary behavior.
• Correlate indicators across data sources to assess threats.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to analysts.
• Promote rigorous investigative methodology and best practices.
• Improve workflows, tools, and techniques as threats evolve.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality analyses.
• Contribute to technical reporting for customer decisions.
