Dakota Premium Hardwoods in Ruston, LA is seeking a dependable CDL driver to join our team. The role involves daily local deliveries of plywood and lumber materials to shops and job-sites, with a focus on safety and timely service.

Requirements include a valid CDL, clean driving record, experience with manual transmissions, load-strapping, and hand unloading. Schedule: Monday–Friday with some weekends; home every night; benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• CDL license required; intrastate driving permitted in LA/TX/MS/AR.
• Experience with manual transmissions and securing loads (strapping).
• Ability to assist with hand unloading and operate curtain-side flatbed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plywood and lumber to shop locations and job-sites.
• Perform shop deliveries and site deliveries with a focus on safety and timeliness.
• Assist with load securing and hand unloading as needed.
• Maintain clean driving record and comply with company safety standards.

Ruston LA plywood/hardwood distributor is seeking dependable, hard-working, customer service oriented team player to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition towards customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can do attitude are essential. Primarily shop deliveries and job-sites. Product being delivered consists of plywood and lumber materials.

Must have experience with manual transmissions, knowledge on strapping loads, and assisting with hand unloading of material. Must have delivery experience in 22’-28’ curtain side flatbed.

Current, valid, unencumbered CDL driver's license is required.

Clean driving record is required.

Work hours are Monday - Friday, some weekends are required
