Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a patient-centered care setting. The RN will practice within the CT Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care while collaborating with the patient, family, and healthcare team.

Responsibilities include leadership, effective communication, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current CT nursing license.
• BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.
• Intraoperative RN experience required.
• Availability for 3 eight-hour shifts with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Practice nursing per ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families; communicate and collaborate with the care team.
• Coordinate care and transitions across the patient care continuum.
• Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and professional practice in all nursing activities.
