Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM)/Neurophysiology Technician IV - OCH Spine Hospital - Days

NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital is an innovative place where care, compassion, and community meet a world-class experience. We are bringing together top spine surgeons to create the Spine Hospital, delivering a patient-inspired experience that will transform care. Leaders like Lawrence Lenke, M.D., K. Daniel Riew, M.D., and Ronald Lehman, M.D., are guiding this pioneering project.

This role focuses on intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring across all age groups, primarily adults aged fourteen and older. The technician will set up patients for monitoring with minimal supervision, coordinate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams, and perform electrode applications, including in pharmacologically paralyzed patients, adhering to sterile protocols.

The shift for this position is 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, with on-call and weekend coverage as needed.

Preferred Criteria:

• Graduation from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program (CAAHEP)

Required Criteria:

• Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) by ABRET
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in EEG, intraoperative, or evoked potential monitoring
• Graduation from an accredited neurodiagnostic training program or equivalent experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
