Job summary

The University of Oklahoma is seeking an Intramural (IM) Sports Official to support Fitness+Recreation. You will officiate basketball, soccer, softball, flag football and volleyball, enforcing rules and promoting sportsmanship for student participants.

As a student employee, you will work around your class and sports schedule. Must be enrolled for Fall 2026 and eligible for a background check; valid Oklahoma driver’s license required to operate OU vehicles. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Fall 2026 term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Previous sports officiating experience is preferred.

Pay Range: Targeted Salary of $12.25/hour, based on education and experience

Position Introduction Join Fitness+Recreation team as an Intramural (IM) Sports Official and play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and competitive environment for student participants. IM Sports Officials are responsible for officiating a variety of sports, enforcing game rules, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring fair play during all events. Will be responsible for officiating any/all of the following sports:

• Basketball
• Soccer
• Softball
• Flag Football
• Volleyball

Fitness+Recreation strives to help all student employees develop their career readiness upon graduation. Student Employees are applying academic learning by developing workforce competencies, per the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines.

Required Education And Experience

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.

• In order to operate an OU vehicle, must have valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
