Job summary

Liberty University is seeking an Intramural Sports Field Attendant to support the Liberty Mountain Intramural Complex. You will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and smooth operations during hours of operation, providing strong customer service to guests and participants.

You will monitor field usage, check-in reservations, assist with equipment and event support, and follow risk management procedures. Training and weekend/evening shifts are required, with a focus on teamwork and campus

Qualifications

• Current Liberty University student
• Ability to work up to 18 hours per week
• Varied shifts (weekends, early mornings, afternoons, late nights)
• CPR/AED Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Experience maintaining sporting fields preferred
• Experience in a customer service position preferred
• Desire to pursue recreation management as a career field

Responsibilities

• Ensure user safety and facility cleanliness during operational hours
• Monitor field/court usage and check-in reservations
• Maintain and stock supplies; clean restrooms and public spaces
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and facilities
• Support events and operations during evenings, nights or weekends
• Participate in required Campus Recreation trainings and meetings
• Collaborate effectively as part of the Campus Recreation team
