Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC seeks a Logistics Analyst - International to support daily ocean logistics operations, including export shipments, documentation, vessel schedules, bookings, and shipment tracking in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities include invoice validation, reconciliation, reporting and coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment execution. Requires strong Excel, Power BI and SAP ECC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience in export logistics.
• Experience with ERP (SAP ECC Sales & Distribution) for order fulfillment or logistics execution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor export shipments, container status, bookings, documentation, vessel schedules and sailing information.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses, internal stakeholders and ocean carriers.
• Process and validate ocean logistics invoices, review charges against rates and supporting docs.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with carriers and suppliers.
• Assist with monthly/period-end activities and reporting on ocean shipments and payables.
• Support data analysis on ocean shipment activity, carrier performance and exceptions.
