Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Roku Developer to join a leading Media & Entertainment client's Connected TV (CTV) team. This fully remote role supports Pacific Time hours and runs through June 2027 with potential extensions.

You will accelerate feature development, covering personalization, A/B testing, and home screen redesign for a high-traffic streaming app. You will build new features, troubleshoot defects, and support deployments on the Roku platform, contributing to long-term roadmap and user

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Roku development experience.
• Strong expertise with BrightScript and SceneGraph.
• Experience developing and launching multiple Roku applications from scratch through production deployment.
• Experience building and supporting production Roku/CTV applications.
• Strong understanding of Roku SDK and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for a high-traffic Roku/CTV application.
• Enhance and maintain existing Roku functionality and integrations.
• Troubleshoot defects and support code deployments on the Roku platform.
• Contribute to development velocity and fixes to meet product roadmap goals.
• Help shape long-term roadmap and improve user experience across the platform.

Insight Global is seeking a Roku Developer to join a leading Media & Entertainment client's Connected TV (CTV) team. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting Pacific Time hours and is slated to run through the end of June 2027, with likely extensions. This engineer will help accelerate feature development across a high-traffic streaming application, supporting initiatives such as personalization, A/B testing, home screen redesign, authenticated and non-authenticated user experiences, and overall platform enhancements.In this role, you will be responsible for building new features, enhancing existing functionality, troubleshooting defects, and supporting code deployments on the Roku platform. The team is looking for someone who can help increase development velocity while contributing to the long-term roadmap and user experience of the application.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Roku development experienceStrong expertise with BrightScript and SceneGraphExperience developing and launching multiple Roku applications from scratch through production deploymentExperience building and supporting production Roku/CTV applicationsStrong understanding of Roku SDK and API integrationsExperience with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Charles ProxyStrong problem-solving and communication skillsBackground in OTT, streaming, or digital media platforms
