Amazon's Project Kuiper is seeking an International Business Operations Manager for its Government Solutions team. This role focuses on driving operational excellence and managing compliance in communications services to international government customers. Candidates should have a strong business background with experience in technology and a proven track record in delivering results within fast-paced environments.
Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Kuiper Government Solutions’ (KGS) mission is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers. This position will be working on KGS’ Business Operations team.
This role will support the international business needs of KGS, including business with both commercial and government entities.
Key job responsibilities
-Drive operational excellence in the delivery of Kuiper's satellite communications services to international customers
-Develop and maintain processes for international business operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies
-Partner with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Technical stakeholders to support international expansion initiatives
-Create and maintain documentation for operational procedures, training materials, and process improvements
-Manage relationships with key stakeholders across internal Amazon teams
-Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
-Support international business system implementation(s) to enable sales growth
Export Control : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience bringing technology products to market in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years of business development, or account management with a proven ability to deliver results experience
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience delivering Lean/Six Sigma projects such as Kaizens, Greenbelts, and continuous improvement initiatives, this should include needs assessment, business case creation, scope definition, project planning and project implementation
