About the Role:

We are seeking a trend-driven, fashion-forward Intimates Design Director or Senior Designer to serve as a creative counterpart to our current Design Director. This role will focus on intimates and sleepwear, contributing fresh design perspectives while helping to grow and shape the design team. The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in the intimates market, highly creative, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the current Design Director to lead the creative direction and product development for intimates and sleepwear collections.
• Design seasonal assortments that are trend-focused, innovative, and commercially viable, with an eye on freshness and fashion relevance.
• Conduct market and trend research, including color, fabric, and silhouette forecasting, to inform and inspire each season’s design direction.
• Create detailed tech packs and collaborate with the future CAD and tech teams (to be hired under your leadership) for sample execution and development.
• Oversee development process from concept through final approvals, working closely with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, and sourcing.
• Participate in fittings, approve lab dips and samples, and ensure product meets brand and quality standards.
• Stay informed on industry trends and consumer shifts to consistently bring fashion-forward ideas to the brand.
• Contribute to a positive, innovative, and growth-minded studio culture.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of intimates and/or sleepwear design experience, ideally within contemporary or fashion-forward brands.
• Strong trend sensibility with the ability to translate inspiration into fresh, sellable product.
• Experience working with overseas vendors and understanding of garment construction, fit, and development timelines.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop); familiarity with PLM systems is a plus.
• Leadership experience or readiness to build and manage a small team (CAD & Tech Design).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both creatively and strategically.
