What is the Physician Network Resource Pool?

The Physician Network Resource Pool is a project-based team servicing 80+ physician practice locations owned by Lexington Medical Center. It includes RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, Ultrasound Sonographers, and Business Office staff. The pool provides long-term supplemental coverage for various leaves and vacancies, typically up to 12 weeks or longer, with an average of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The model aims to find long-term placements for team members, often transferring 10-12 employees monthly into full-time roles at LMC.

This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to gain experience, for relocating candidates to familiarize themselves with our health system and EHR, and for re-entering healthcare professionals to refresh skills. We offer comprehensive training, networking opportunities within physician practices, and potential long-term placements. Most team members secure full-time positions quickly, with no waiting period for transfers.

Candidates should be available for at least 3-5 full days per week (8-5). The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours, but 3-4 day options can be accommodated. These are resource/PRN positions, primarily covering full-time staff absences for 2-12 weeks, ideally during day shifts.
