Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking an Interventional Vascular Technologist to join the Radiology Special Procedures team. You will provide technical assistance with diagnostic and interventional procedures, acquiring and processing images to ensure accuracy and clarity.

This Magnet Hospital offers opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to patient care daily, with a schedule 8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm and on-site duties in Cleveland.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT(R) registered in good standing as RT(R).
• Current state licensure as Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic physics and vascular imaging safety.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy for interventional and diagnostic exams.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and perform vascular, interventional and surgical procedures per protocol.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams.
• Set up or operate injector to administer contrast agents.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS; manage after-hours transmission.
• Monitor equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure patient safety.
• Teach students and new hires; participate in ongoing training.
