UVA Health invites applications for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. You will support diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures, prepare patients, maintain sterile technique, and operate imaging systems under physician supervision.

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will support diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures by preparing patients, maintaining sterile technique, operating imaging equipment, and assisting physicians throughout complex cases.
Job requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to, fumes, cold, heat, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.

Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through advanced education, training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory technologist jobs.
Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation .
