Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA seeks a Vascular Lab Technologist Angiography to join the IR lab team. You will assist with angiography and interventional radiology procedures, supporting radiologists with imaging, scrubbing, and aseptic technique.

The role requires rotating on-call duties during weekdays and weekends and being within 30 minutes of the hospital. Advanced certifications and BLS/ACLS eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology.
• Graduate of accredited school of radiology.
• Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, RCIS, or RCES must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to patient and team.
• Function as a technical resource and provide scrub assistance using aseptic technique.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and radiology principles.
