Job summary

A healthcare facility in Savannah, Georgia is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join their Angiography team. This position requires on-call availability within 30 minutes of the hospital. Responsibilities include preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and collaborating with the surgical team for critical procedures. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technologist or Certificate of Completion of the Operating Room Specialist Course from the Military.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
• One to two years of vascular surgery experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies for all surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field while passing instrumentation during procedures.
• Assist in patient positioning, transporting, and obtaining needed equipment.
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assist in prepping the operating room for the next patient.
