This opportunity is ideal for a proactive, organized professional who enjoys working independently, building trusted partnerships, and making a meaningful contribution to medical technology sales.

Accountabilities

  • Generate sales revenue by developing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the customer base across the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer contacts, leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system to support effective pipeline management.
  • Coordinate with Sales Support Specialists and internal stakeholders to execute sales initiatives and achieve annual targets.
  • Travel to healthcare facilities to deliver product demonstrations, conduct in-service training, and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication, problem-solving, regular follow-ups, and timely quotation management.
  • Monitor competitor products, services, and market developments, sharing relevant customer feedback and competitive intelligence with internal teams.
  • Identify and recruit new customers while assessing opportunities to improve product reach and customer coverage.
  • Support the implementation of regional marketing plans and contribute insights that inform sales and market development strategies.
  • Resolve routine customer issues through effective internal communication and cross-functional coordination, escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly and monthly territory sales reports to the designated internal sales representatives and sales leadership.
  • Participate in ongoing training to strengthen knowledge of multi-modality imaging products, applications, and industry developments.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or at least five years of experience in the radiation oncology medical device industry.
  • At least three years of medical device sales experience, or five or more years of outside sales experience in another industry.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, particularly when engaging customers and colleagues by phone.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to plan territory activities, manage multiple opportunities, and maintain accurate records.
  • A customer-focused approach, sound problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate professionally and credibly in a variety of situations.
  • A demonstrated record of positive, productive work performance and the initiative to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned western U.S. territory by car and airplane.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including regularly sitting, speaking, and listening; occasionally standing and walking; performing close-vision tasks; and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
