Job summary

UK Healthcare is expanding its Interventional Radiology services and is hiring an Interventional Technologist. The IR Tech will provide clinical assistance during procedures and support the physician in CT, US, and fluoroscopy guided cases.

Opportunities exist to progress with advanced registry and equipment proficiency. The role requires an AS degree, 1 year of related experience, and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License with ARRT registration and BLS.

Qualifications

• AS degree required.
• 1 year related experience required.
• Kentucky State Radiation Operators License + ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT RT) + Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assistance during interventional procedures.
• Assist the physician in expediting needed care and in CT, US, and fluoroscopy guided procedures.
• Serve as scrub tech or circulator during procedures and manage supply charge, documentation and charging procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy; adhere to UK behavioral standards during interactions.
