Enloe Health is seeking an Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) to perform imaging procedures under supervision and support the Radiology Department. The role includes operating X-ray equipment, patient preparation, and cross-training in Interventional Radiology to enhance service delivery.
The position requires CRT licensure, CPR certification, and ARRT/Fluoroscopy permits within 6 months. Sign-on and competitive benefits are offered; shift is Days, with 10-hour work periods.
Compensation range: $60.02 - $81.03. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager and the supervision of the Lead IR Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) will be a Diagnostic Technologist which is cross trained in Interventional Radiology. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. The Tech will be responsible for charging supplies and Current Procedural Terminology codes. The Interventional Technologist supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic technologist. Must be self-motivated. Excellent communication skills and problem solving techniques are required. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
