CT Technologist - Medical Imaging (Full-Time, Temporary, Days)

Compensation Range: $48.07 - $64.89 per hour. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Shift: Days, Temporary

Shift length: 12-Hours, Days off: Variable, Hours per pay period: 72.

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The CT Technologist can perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams, operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs intravenous contrast injections, operates X‑ray equipment, and prepares patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. The Technologist is responsible for quality control and enforcement of Enloe Medical Centers Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and departmental policies.

Desired Qualifications

• Two years experience in diagnostic x‑ray
• One year experience in CT

Minimum Qualifications

• Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• Approved CPR certification
• ARRT certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire

Additional Desired Certifications

• Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification
• Current ARRT license
• Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California
• Advanced certification in CT

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross‑sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure. Must be intelligent, self‑motivated, with excellent communication and critical‑thinking skills to fulfill essential functions.
