Job summary

CHI Health Lakeside is seeking an Interventional Technologist to prepare the procedure room, operate advanced imaging equipment, monitor patient vitals, and assist physicians during complex interventional procedures. You will uphold sterile technique, explain procedures to patients, and ensure radiation safety throughout each case.

The role requires collaboration in a high-pressure environment, with responsibilities spanning equipment readiness, quality checks, and adherence to CMS/JCAHO

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program (upon hire).
• Medical Radiographer: NE (upon hire).
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification (upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist physicians during complex interventional procedures, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety.
• Maintain sterile fields, prep equipment, and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Verify informed consent and explain procedures including duration and next steps to patients.
• Ensure radiation safety standards are followed and document any equipment issues or incidents.
