Ideal candidates will be board-certified or eligible in PM&R, have training in interventional spine/pain, and contribute to resident and fellow education, while pursuing research opportunities in an academic health sciences

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Active California medical license.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency.
• Fellowship in Interventional Spine or Pain Management, or five years' interventional spine practice experience.
• Board certified or eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for spine disorders in an academic setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons and non-operative faculty as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Teach Orthopaedic Surgery, PM&R residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Engage in clinical teaching and develop research programs.

Education

MD or DO degree from an accredited program

California medical license

Completion of PM&R residency

Fellowship in Interventional Spine or Pain Management or 5 years interventional spine experience

Board certified or eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
