Job summary

Novant Health is seeking qualified staff for our cath lab and interventional procedures. The role requires education up to an associate degree, ARRT certification for RT(R) or RN licensure for nurses, and a minimum of one year in Cath Lab or related interventional settings.

Candidates must pass department skill validations and, for RN, a Cardiac Dysrhythmias test. This position collaborates with physicians and care teams to provide care aligned with Novant Health policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT. IF RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
• Experience: IF RT(R): Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures required. IF RN: Minimum one year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures required.
• Licensure/certification/registration: IF RT(R): ARRT required. IF RN: state RN license required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
• Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. IF RN: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.

What We Offer

Provides care to patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures and vascular procedures.

Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
