Wellstar is seeking an Interventional Special Procedures Tech to join our radiology team. You will work a Day shift in a full-time role, support with imaging in both IR and vascular hybrid settings, and participate in on-call rotations (5-6 days per month plus one weekend).
Under supervision of the clinical coordinator and department manager, you will prepare equipment, assist with procedures, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging across exams.

Work Shift Day (United States of America) Full-time Interventional Special Procedures Tech Mon-Fri 4-10's (7a-5:30p) Call is 5-6 days/month + 1 Wknd (Able to schedule your own call)
Functions under the direction of the clinical coordinator and/or department manager. The interventional special procedures technologist assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department according to department procedures. The technologist has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. The technologist is able to independently perform job functions. He/she sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure. Able to perform procedures in both the IR and vascular hybrid interventional procedural setting.
High School Diploma / GED General Required and( Accredited Program Radiologic Technology Required or) 1 year of experience Preferred ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography CVRN-LVL 3 - CV (Cath Lab/Int IF RCIS-Cert) RCIS - Registered CVI Specialist BLS - Basic Life Support BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
