Job summary

New Jersey Urology (NJU) is expanding its IR Centers endovascular lab and is opening a new location in Monroe Township, NJ. As a Surgical Technologist (IR Scrub Tech) at NJU, you will prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures, maintain sterile technique, and assist physicians during interventional procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid BLS, and 2 years of scrub tech experience; ARRT/CST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Surgical technologist / Scrub Tech experience: 2 years.
• ARRT / CST Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures.
• Review orders and set up/clean rooms with necessary materials.
• Assist with patient prep, transfers, and positioning.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Input patient data into C-Arm and help with imaging and labeling.
• Manage equipment maintenance, inventory, and hazardous waste disposal.
• Coordinate communication with physicians and assist with CPT/ ICD coding.
