Job summary

Naval Medical Center San Diego is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for the Radiology Department. The position requires radiology certification and 1 year of specialized experience in interventional radiology support.

Qualifications

• Certification as a radiographer per Public Law 97-35 and 42 CFR Part 75.
• One year of specialized experience in preparing exam rooms and assisting with interventional/vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing exam rooms for radiologic procedures.
• Aid with interventional and vascular studies (GI, urinary, drainage, biopsies).
• Assist in training students and civilian technologists in Interventional Radiology principles.
