Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist/Radiography program.
Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Analytical skills necessary to acquire knowledge of computerized tomography techniques.
Two years of experience as a Radi Technologist preferred.
Responsibilities
Review requests for radiologic procedures and schedule patients.
Ensure appropriate documentation for procedures.
Determine radiographic technique parameters and adjust equipment.
Assist the radiologist or surgeons in special procedures.
Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
