Job description

SIGN ON BONUS POSSIBLE!!

Interventional Radiology Tech responsible for leading the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired organ and vascular diseases. Performs routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Angio-Interventional radiology or Neuroradiology service.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Providing efficient procedural support for various patient procedures.
  2. Operating imaging systems for specialized procedures.
  3. Applying measures to minimize radiation exposure to self, patients, and staff.
  4. Achieving quality assurance standards, with an error rate below 5% in image QA.
  5. Maintaining inventory and supplies.
  6. Participating in continuing education.
  7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $36.01 - $57.62 Hourly

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program; Associate's Degree preferred. Must be eligible for ARRT (VI) certification.
  • Experience: 2 years Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R.T.) required. ARRT (VI) certification within one year of hire. BLS certification required.
Physical Demands

Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and lifting (50-100 lbs). Proficient in communication, auditory and visual skills. Exposure to fumes, cold, heat, radiation, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
