Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology to support minimally invasive procedures. You will guide interventions with real-time imaging, ensure patient comfort, and maintain strict sterile technique.

Based in Albuquerque, NM, you will collaborate with physicians and nurses in a fast-paced hospital setting, perform quality checks on equipment, document procedures, and participate in on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Explain procedures and position patients for interventional radiology.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control during procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment for real-time guidance.
• Assist physicians in angiograms, stent placements or biopsies.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records with accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and position patients for interventional radiology.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to provide real-time guidance during procedures.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
