UofL Health is seeking an Interventional Technologist to support the interventional radiology team in the University Hospital environment. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, circulating in the lab, and ensuring accurate equipment setup and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT required.
• KY Radiation Operator’s certification required
• BLS required
• IR Registry required within 2 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Scrubs in and assists the physician in interventional radiology procedures.
• Circulates in the procedure room and procures needed equipment.
• Position patients and set exposure parameters per protocol.
• Produce images according to established protocols and evaluate quality.
• Maintain radiation safety and patient protection standards.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and ensure proper documentation and charges.
