Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist specialized in Interventional Radiology to support minimally invasive procedures and guide interventions with advanced imaging. You will prepare patients, position them, operate fluoroscopy for real-time guidance, and assist physicians with angiograms, stent placements or biopsies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Certification as Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience in interventional radiology preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to provide real-time guidance during procedures.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
