Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support patient care during invasive procedures in the Interventional Lab. The technologist will circulate, monitor patients, and perform sterile scrubs for diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-endovascular procedures.

The role requires after-hours coverage and collaboration with Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
SCRQSA certification is required.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.
Experience in Neurovascular and General Interventional procedures is required.
Strong understanding of endovascular and neuro-endovascular devices is required.

Responsibilities

Circulating and physiologically monitoring patients during invasive procedures in the Interventional Lab.
Perform sterile scrub procedures for diagnostic and interventional procedures (vascular and neuro-endovascular).
Work with Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons; after-hours coverage for emergent cases.
Possible direct supervision of students as directed by the area supervisor.
