Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY. This full-time, mid-shift role supports Radiologists during OR procedures, including handling and operating IR equipment and performing patient and tray prep.

The position requires NYS radiography licensure, ARRT VI certification (or within 18 months), and one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate AMA approved school of radiology.
• New York State licensure in Radiography and certified by New York State to inject contrast media.
• ARRT certification in VI; if not held, must obtain certification within 18 months of start date.
• Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.
• Minimum of one year experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Proficient in EMR, RIS, PACS, Modality specific software.
• Must be willing to respond, if needed, for emergency examinations when available.
• Must complete 3 month department modality specific evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologists during OR procedures, including handling/operating equipment and instruments.
• Patient and tray prep before procedures.
• Support a premier level of quality in a world-class clinical team.
