Job summary

SolutionHealth in New Hampshire seeks an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a full-time position. You will assist Radiologists and surgeons in minimally invasive studies and procedures, with emphasis on imaging protocols and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT certification, NH license, and BLS, with 1–2 years IR experience preferred. Work involves a four-ten hour shift schedule and rotating on-call weekends, with flexible options.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training to meet ARRT/registry requirements.
• ARRT certification (or equivalent) required.
• State of NH Medical Imaging license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• 1–2 years Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all IR studies and procedures and assist in minor surgical procedures.
• Monitor procedure in progress and document materials and complications.
• Review patient history, verify ID and reconcile physician requests with orders, ensure consent.
• Assist Radiologist with minimally invasive fluoroscopic procedures.
• Prepare and administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast per protocol.
• Transport and operate imaging equipment (C-arms) for procedures.

About the Job:

Assist Radiologists, Surgeons, other physicians, and nursing staff in the execution of minimally invasive studies and minor surgical procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform all studies and procedures in Interventional Radiology. Basic understanding of imaging techniques, protocols, and ability to prepare for ancillary equipment setup.

• Monitor procedure in progress, report materials consumed to physician as necessary and document complications as they occur.

• Review pertinent patient medical history, verifying patient ID and reconciling physician requests with exams order, assuring patient consent has been given.

• Assist Radiologist with minimally invasive fluoroscopic procedures as required.

• Prepare and administrator IV, oral and rectal contrast as indicated by protocol.

• Transport and operate c-arms for procedures performed in the operating room.

Who You Are:

• Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirement for registry by the ARRT or equivalent training required.

• ARRT (R) certification required or acquired.

• State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging License required.

• Basic Life Support required.

• A minimum of one to two years of Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Work Shift:

Four ten hour shifts, 6:30am - 5:00pm
Rotating On Call Weekends, 1 weeknight
Monday-Friday
