Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an Interventional Technologist II at Franklin Square Medical Center to perform vascular, non-vascular, and neuro interventional procedures. The role includes operating CT scanners for IR, ensuring patient safety, and supporting imaging workflows across locations.

Minimum two years in an IR environment with ARRT certification, BLS/ACLS as required, and MD/VA licensure on hire. The position is PRN with dedicated benefits and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; or Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification required upon hire; advanced CV/CI/VI certification preferred for hires after 2017.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized vascular/non-vascular and/or neuro interventional procedures.
• Operate CT scanners for IR procedures and diagnostic CT when applicable.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control and safety procedures.
• Document patient care in electronic health records and deliver timely images to PACS.
