Qualifications

• Graduation from a radiologic technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) at hire; VI certification within 2 years.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Corroborates patient identity and procedure details for accurate imaging.
• Operates imaging equipment with emphasis on radiation safety.
• Assists radiologists during fluoroscopy, angio-CT and ultrasound procedures.
• Maintains equipment and image quality, and documents procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and provides compassionate care.
• Participates in quality assessment and continuing education.
