Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and related studies, across adolescent to geriatric patients. The role requires ARRT/ARDMS registration and BCLS, with advanced ARRT in VI or CI preferred.

No prior experience is required, with post-processing and careful record-keeping duties included. The successful candidate will join a hospital team committed to high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program
• No experience required
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required; BCLS required; advanced ARRT in VI or CI preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions.
• Performs related record keeping and patient care functions.
• Adheres to established protocols and techniques across adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.
