Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Radiologic Technician to perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional radiology procedures and provide patient and family education. You will operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensure safety, and contribute to departmental documentation and inventory management.

The role requires ARRT or RCIS registration, BLS certification, and excellent communication skills.

Qualificações

• Must have completed a Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT or RCIS credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.

Responsabilidades

• Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional radiology procedures.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Complete department documentation.
• Maintain all equipment to be clean and operational.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for examinations.
• Participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
