Call every 3rd Thursday 4pm-7:30am and
every 3rd weekend Friday 4pm - Monday 7:30am

*This is a short-term option position with a 13-week commitment (STO). Premium pay!

The Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Rad Tech performs advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting providers during procedures, responding to patient distress, and assisting with equipment quality control and inventory management.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Prepares patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site preparation, draping, sterilized instruments, and calibration of equipment.
  • Ensures high-quality x-ray images and maintains x-ray equipment.
  • Assists during procedures by scrubbing in and maneuvering catheters.
  • Monitors and records hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
  • Participates in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
  • Assists in transporting patients to nursing units.
  • Prepares the procedure rooms with adequate supplies.
  • Performs professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit.
  • Communicates effectively with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Education: Associate degree in Radiology or completion of a radiography certification program.
  • License: Current ARRT (R) and Indiana Radiologic Technologist license required.
