Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Experienced in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab; scrub, circulate and operate a C-Arm or fixed fluoroscopy unit.
• Proactive in scheduling; ensure supplies are available for cases.
• Maintain and control supply and equipment inventory par levels.
• Treat patients with respect; demonstrate caring and compassionate attitude.
• Verify accurate patient procedure and supply charges and document in cost/tracking systems.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource to staff and physicians.
• Contribute to a safe working environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external staff.
• Practice Radiation Safety and ALARA principles at all times.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting skills with endovascular equipment.
• Identify adverse events and notify medical staff promptly.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained prior to procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Keep current with surgical equipment developments.
