Inspira Health Network in Mullica Hill, NJ seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and to assist with interventional procedures. The role involves patient preparation, monitoring, radiation safety, dosimetry, and equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and has 1 year of Neuro IR experience.

Qualifications

• AMA approved radiologic technology program completed.
• 1 year of Neuro IR experience required.
• RCIS preferred.
• Per diem requires 1-2 years' experience.
• ARRT Registry required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia required within one month of hire.
• ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by licensed radiologist, interventional radiologist, interventional cardiologist, or vascular surgeon.
• Assists physicians with all aspects of procedures including diagnostic, routine, and emergent cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiographic procedures.
• Uses radiation producing equipment within departmental guidelines for adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintains dosimetry badges, QA, patient monitoring, and scrub responsibilities.
• Maintains inventory of procedural supplies and supports fiscal responsibility.

MAJOR FUNCTION:Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed radiologist, interventional radiologist, interventional cardiologist, or vascular surgeon. Assists physicians with all aspects of a wide variety of procedures including diagnostic, routine, and emergent cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiographic procedures.
