Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, MD seeks a full-time Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology Team. As an IR Tech you will perform invasive radiology procedures in Neuro and Body, prep and maintain procedure rooms, and ensure accurate and high‑quality images while administering contrast.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Maryland radiology licensure required.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR card within one month of hire.
• VI certification encouraged within two years of hire.
• IR Tech I -- less than two years of experience; IR Tech II -- 2+ years of experience.

The Department of Imaging and Imaging Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center includes over 25 Johns Hopkins School of Medicine specialized radiologists who perform more than 130,000 exams and procedures annually. The department serves our patients and our East Baltimore community, as well as national and international referrals.

Our department is equipped with the latest equipment and utilizes innovative technology and imaging techniques. We offer a wide spectrum of imaging services including diagnostic, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine exams as well as interventional procedures. Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is searching for a full-time Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our elite Radiology Team. As an IR Tech, you will:

• Perform invasive radiology procedures in both Neuro and Body.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field. One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
• Radiology licensure from the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
• Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid CPR card within one (1) month of hire
• Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certification is encouraged within two (2) years of hire
• IR Tech I -- Less than two (2) years of experience. New grads are encouraged to apply
• IR Tech II -- 2 or more years of experience

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift; 7:00am - 5:30pm

4 - 10 hour shifts

Rotating on-call days per week

Weekend and holiday on-call rotating

Salary Range:

Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 74.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
