Job summary

The VIOS Clinic in Sioux Falls is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform specialized procedures with sterile techniques and advanced equipment. You will schedule procedures, prepare patients, and operate imaging systems under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating with nursing staff and students, producing diagnostic images, and maintaining records in line with safety and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology or related field from a recognized program.
• Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT) or Radiography (ARRT), or RCIS (CCI) within 60 days.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Adherence to safety standards, CMS, OSHA, and The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures, prepare patients, and operate equipment while instructing patients on positioning.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, scrub techs, and students to ensure quality imaging for radiologist interpretation.
• Produce diagnostic images via digital or film methods and manage supplies and products used during procedures.
• Assist with patient care, including critically ill individuals, demonstrating compassion and skill.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with departmental, accreditation, and safety standards.
• Monitor hemodynamics during procedures and understand complex human vasculature to anticipate physician needs.
• Apply critical thinking to analyze clinical data and develop procedural plans.
